Orthotrichum affine Brid.

Orthotrichum affine est une mousse acrocarpe appartenant à la famille des Orthotrichacées.
Elle est fréquente sur le tronc des feuillus et souvent en association avec d'autres Orthotrichacées.
Les tiges sont hautes de 0.7 cm à 3.5 cm :

Les capsules dépassent rarement les feuilles. Elles sont nettement striées (8 stries).
Les dents du péristome sont récurvées vers l'extérieur :

Les coiffes des capsules sont couvertes au plus de quelques cils :

Les feuilles peuvent atteindre 3.5 mm de long. Leurs bords sont récurvés. La nervure atteint le sommet des feuilles qui est soit aigu soit obtus et apiculé :

Les cellules vers le milieu et bas des feuilles sont larges de 6 à 10 µm :
