IMHO this is the Rolls Royce amongst rotary microtomes. It's a very heavy (an estimated 60 - 70 kgs) and sturdy microtome, usable in both manual or motor driven mode. As I've used it only manually, there's no foot pedal to use it motor driven, but these can be delivered by Leica or some third party vendors/manufacturers.
In manual mode it can section paraffin blocks, section thickness between 1-2 µm and 50 µm when using the regular knife holder (the one visible in Leica-Jung_01.jpg).
When using the declination/inclination adjustable knife holder (Leica-Jung_05.jpg) which is part of the package, it's possible to cut celloïdin sections as well as harder woody samples.
Motor driven, the microtome can cut semithin sections (0,25µm - 1µm) of specimens embedded in hard plastics such as Epon, Araldite, Technovit and so on. A specimen holder for such specimens, usually embeded in Beem capsules, is part of the package, as well as a knife holder for glass knives. However, that one is missing the bottom plate, but that can still be ordened as spare part.
The microtome is in very good condition, apart from some stains etc. on the outer casing. I would rate it as a 9,5/10 functional, 8/10 cosmetically.

Note: the disposable blade holder in some of the pictures is NOT part of the package! I have a few of those, if you're interested in one, please let me know.
